Our company is seeking a skilled Machine Operator with a high degree of proficiency in CAD/CAM related programming, machining, and tooling. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing parts from various substrates, creating CNC programs, and operating CNC machines using Gibbs Cam and other related software. Responsibilities

• Operate and perform duties proficiently using CAD/CAM related programming, machining, and tooling.
• Create CNC programs, set up jobs, set up tooling, and operate CNC machines using Gibbs Cam and other related software.
• Use CNC machines, saws, sanders, drill presses, buffers, routers, and other related equipment and tooling.
• Make specialty jigs and devices.
• Adhere to department quality program and ensure on-time delivery of the highest quality products.
• Process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle various hazardous materials and hazardous waste in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and employee protection laws.

Qualifications

• Skilled in the use of squares and measuring devices; calipers to within .005” and rulers to within .016” (1/64”).
• Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
• Aptitude for handling tasks as directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify business problems and suggest approaches to solutions.
• Knowledge of materials used in the manufacture of our products.
• Proficient in the operation and mechanics of departmental equipment.
